Characteristics

The CemtA Stem is a modern collarless prosthesis with distal and proximal centering-fins to ensure a constant, th1in and homogenous cement mantle. Can be combined with the cementless Screw Cup or the cementable CemtA Cup. Can be used for primary and revision surgeries. Secure and comfortable preparation of the femur.

Cement Restrictor

A careful cementing procedure should use a minimum of cement in order to minimize heat generation that could weaken the available bonestock.

The cement restrictor closes the open medullary canal in the diaphysis and prevents extension of the cement flow into the distal femoral diaphysis and allows cement pressurising of the proximal femur.
